How do we unleash the potential of young people during a pandemic? Give them equal access to opportunities.

The earthquake and riots of this week notwithstanding, young people in Australia are living through a complex and uncertain time of economic, social, civic and environmental change.

As we adapt to these seismic shifts into what the World Economic Forum terms the fourth industrial revolution, young people across the country will need to develop new skill stacks and workforce capabilities as they transition into a rapidly changing labour market, and rapidly changing world.

Future Amp is on a mission to equip every young person across Australia, especially those in remote, rural, regional and marginalised communities, with the industry skills and real-world knowledge they need to successfully transition from education to training and employment.

This can only be achieved when every young person, no matter who they are, where they are or where they’re at, has access to the technology, skills, learning opportunities and industry knowledge they will need to participate and succeed in the future economy.

Equity of access to education can be a game changer for young people.

As we see the devastating and ongoing impacts of the pandemic on economies, communities and families across Australia, we are more committed than ever to being the on-demand, market-leading platform that can give young people a chance to stay engaged in education, develop industry-relevant skills, build future pathways and get themselves job-ready so they can step into the workforce as active, prepared and purposeful citizens.

With the support of the David Gonski AM national Future Minds program, leading global and local industries, an incredible Youth Advisory Board and our national impact partners, we provide teachers, students and education institutions with a platform that brings the world of work to students anywhere, anytime, so they can learn at their own pace, all in the one place. Our work is also made possible by organisations and companies, both big and small, that share our impact mission.

While none of us can predict where the world’s going next, if we can unlock the talent and skills of the next generation we will enable a more equal playing field for tomorrow’s workforce.

We have just released our 2022 education partnerships.

If you are an education institution, business or organisation that believes in the boundless potential of young people, please reach out to our team to learn how you can join us on our mission to unleash the potential of Australia’s young people, and build the game-changing talent of tomorrow.
