Everyone deserves to participate in the workforce. Future Amp announces Impact Partnerships 2022.
At Future Amp, we believe everyone deserves to participate in the future economy, and everyone can make a difference.
While the global pandemic, ongoing disruptions to teaching and learning and wide-scale workforce disruption have challenged us all to rethink and recalibrate in this new normal, the past year has also seen some incredible innovations in education, hybrid working models and technology used as a force for good.
Last year, as part of the David Gonski AO Future Minds Program, Future Amp committed to an ambitious goal of helping 1 million students across Australia get the career education, industry mentorship and job-ready skills they need to successfully navigate the transition from education to employability.
The Future Amp national career education platform helps students to discover and uncover their interests and passions, develop in-demand, real-world skills and plan future career pathways through expanding their knowledge and workforce insights.
The interactive, data-driven platform features 100+ self-paced learning courses, multiple interactive World of Work features, a Career Passport that tracks individual progress, and a powerful careers learning video library featuring 100’s of industry experts and virtual mentors.
To support more students and education institutions, we are excited to today announce our Future Amp 2022 Impact Partnerships, to enable greater access for students in remote, regional and rural Australia, and in marginalised communities.
We provide an easy to navigate, flexible, secure and scalable platform that can be used by students and educators anywhere, anytime, to provide personalised career guidance leading to greater career readiness, improved educational outcomes and future employability. The platform has been designed with students, for students, and enables young people across Australia to learn at their own pace through world-class UX and student-centric content built by experts, so they can be more inspired, supported and engaged in their career education planning.
At Future Amp, we believe that all companies have the capacity to give, and in the rapidly changing world of work, our team is more committed than ever to driving equity of access to education for all students in order to effect long-term economic and social change.
As graduates of the national David Gonski AO Future Minds program, we support Australian businessman and philanthropist David Gonski’s 2017 Review and 2018 federal recommendations on improving student outcomes in Australia in order to meet the future needs of our economy, society and education system.
Those reviews have become known as simply 'Gonski', and 'Gonski 2.0', and have anchored themselves as a kind of holy grail for where education needs to go in this country if we are to step into the next decades of change with confidence, competence and a skilled, relevant workforce ready to address the challenges of the 21st Century.
Equipping every student to be a creative, connected and engaged learner in a rapidly changing world is the responsibility of us all, and requires innovative, scalable solutions that enable equity of access - anywhere, anytime.
Future Amp is on a mission to make this happen.
If you are an Australian education institution, nonprofit or community organisation providing careers, self-development, education pathway or mentorship to young people (13-25), please reach out to our team to see how we can help you to double down on your social mission, and supercharge the futures of the young people you support.
