Future Amp is excited to today announce our partnership with MMLLEN, as part of our current national career education platform roll out.

The partnership supports the Victorian State Government-funded MMLLEN to provide 500+ students and educators with access to Future Amp’s leading career education platform, launched through the David Gonski AO Future Minds program.

Murray Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network (MMLLEN) is one of 31 LLENs across Victoria. The LLENs are a key initiative of the Victorian Government designed to inspire, educate and upskill today’s students for tomorrow’s industries and jobs.

The Future Amp MMLLEN partnership commenced this week with six education partner schools across the region, and will contribute to enhancing student aspirations, supporting pathways programs, and fostering a sense of optimism for the future.

Making career decisions, accessing up-to-date information, and connecting with real people in real jobs and industries is fundamental to every student’s career pathway exploration, goal setting and planning.

But too many young people still face significant demographic or geographic barriers, lack access to industry role models or career advisors, and can’t get beyond the classroom walls or their born circumstance to reach their full potential.

The Future Amp platform educates, equips and upskills ALL students with what they need to succeed and find a path - whoever they are, wherever they are.

Future Amp is a smart career education application providing on-demand career pathway guidance, skills-based learning and 100+ Australian Curriculum-aligned courses designed specifically for students to help them navigate their early career discovery and decision-making, and track their progress.

Students can discover industries and jobs, explore study pathways, complete virtual work experience, plan career goals aligned with individual passions, interests, and strengths, and develop real-world, in-demand transferable skills by learning directly from a network of 100’s of industry experts (virtual career role models).

MMLLEN provides education opportunities that ignite the career aspirations of young people, increase the capability of schools to deliver effective education, training and employment pathways for youth, and deliver effective pathways to employment in local priority and other industries.

Strategic priorities of the Future Amp MMLLEN partnership are to:

  • Enhance career education exploration and discovery opportunities to assist young people to connect with real-world industries, jobs and skills

  • Prepare a skilled, entry-level workforce of young people to support the development of the local and regional economy and Victoria’s priority sectors

  • Support parents and families to be closely engaged in the education and career decision-making of their children

  • Support a strong and cohesive community working together for the benefit of all young people in order to improve the education, participation, engagement, attainment and transition outcomes of young people within the MMLLEN geographic boundaries.
